New Concrete Slab!
I was so ecstatic about the path that I went up and down it about 10 times. I could even use my electric scooter attachment called the firefly on the path no problem! Though even without the firefly the hills are more than manageable to push up. The Duluth concrete team was the best! they got my path done in a couple weeks and in time for the 4th.
Even though I was super excited about the path there was still something, the same thing I've been saying I was going to change for the past couple weeks. I am starting to get back to the grind not for anyone else this time, but for myself. the night of the third I had many revelations about just how I should be going about my self improvement journey and like many for me it starts with my personal health. My diet, exercise routine, water intake, sleep schedule, screen time and chair maintenance. Keeping my wheelchair clean and functioning as well as it can.
I have already started a more suitable approach to reach my goals. First I changed my to do list to daily, weekly, and monthly, making it more manageable and eficient. Second I approached my personal trainer with eating, dietary and upper body exercise goals. Third I reached out to my friend at courage kenny to get me fitted for a hand cycle and discuss other possible adaptive outdoor activities.
I have been feeling constant fatigue, stiffness and dehydration and am realizing that I need to take care of my body first and foremost to lead a happy and healthy life.
If you have read to this far I deeply appreciate your support and hope to see you soon.
